I'm forever into lipsticks, particularly fashion colours which makes these inexpensive, amazing quality lip colours the perfect choice!

With 16 gorgeous shades to choose from,  and two popular finishes - matte & creme, you are sure to find a lippy to suit your need and one to take you out of your comfort zone for some fun! And if that's not enough to send you racing there they are also NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS!!!

Colour swatches of the shades below
COLOUR: Wonderlust
COLOUR: Beauty Queen
COLOUR: Berrylicious
COLOUR: Bombshell
COLOUR: Fruit Tingle
COLOUR: Mad About You

COLOUR: Orange Crush

PRICE: AU $9.95 each ($2.48 per gm)

CONSISTENCY: Matte or Creme

HOW TO APPLY: The lipsticks can be applied with a lip brush or straight from the bullet.

WHO IT WILL SUIT: With such a large array of colour and tones there is a colour to suit everyone. I'd suggest getting a few and mixing your own signature colour!

PROS: Lots of colours to choose from, available at your local Sportsgirl store, inexpensive, not tested on animals, matte finishes are still moisturising on your lips - very comfortable to wear, long lasting.

CONS: Darker colours can stain the lips (but that can also be a good thing!!!).

TOM FORD Eyeshadow Review & Application!

Well, well, well do I have some amazing news for comes in the form of the very best eyeshadow you ever have set your eyes upon and once you try it your eyes will not know what to do with themselves and the incredible colour that will wash their lids. A little dramatic - No!

I had gone a little crazy finally went on a massive Tom Ford makeup spree and picked up some incredible goods which I will review in the coming weeks. I was desperate to start with the eyeshadows as my expectations of the quads was completely blown the best way possible!

Packaging: Plastic with metal embossed trimmings

Tom Ford Eyeshadow Quad Prices:
AU       $100
USA     $78
Euro     €72
Pound   £68

Consistency: Extremely fine pressed powder.

How to apply: The applicators supplied with the palettes are sufficient especially as they have thoughtfully included a cute blending brush. Alternatively any type of eye blending brush is ideal.

Who will it suit: There is a vast variety of colours the covers a large spectrum of the colour wheel. I have no doubt there is a palette to suit everyone. The two I have chosen are suitable to most skin tones and gives me a variety of matte, sheer sparkle, satin and shimmer finishes.

PROS: Exceptional quality, colour blends very easily and pigment is strong. Large variety of colours to suit everyone and packaging is luxurious particularly the large compact mirror when the palette is opened. Applicators supplied are ideal and it's terrific they have included the small blending brush. Compared to other brands on par with Tom Ford and slightly below the value for money is favourable. Wears well and longevity is great.

CONS: Can be perceived as pricey when compared to other high end palettes. THATS ALL!!

Cara Delevingne Makeup Look!

We all love her, her look, her attitude, her style and now her makeup!

Cara Delevingne is me.....and the world.

It was so hard setting out to do a makeup inspired by her as there is only one Cara, and this Zoe looks nothing like her. The amazing thing
is we don't have to look like her to get the same makeup look - promise!

I recreated a look she so beautifully wore at a Issa London Spring/Summer 2013 show.

REVIEW: Soleil Tan De Chanel

Whether it be Summer, Winter, Autumn, Spring the much loved bronzer is certainly a product we religiously use. This cream bronzer is a natural winner......

Soleil Tan De Chanel

Soleil Tan De Chanel
Packaging: Plastic

Size: 30gm

Cost & Cost Per Gram (estimate):
AU       $78 / $2.60
USA     $48 / $1.60
Euro     €40 / €1.35
Pound   £32/ £1.05

Consistency: Creme

How to apply? Can be applied with a flat foundation brush, stippling brush, buffing brush, sponge and fingers.

Who will it suit? To get a rough idea my foundation colour is Chanel 40, Giorgio Armani 7, MUFE 155 or MAC Face & Body C4. If you are similar or slightly darker it will be fine anyone much darker Id recommend skipping this product. Very light and pink under toned skins should be careful when applying it. Ensure you start of lightly and blend, blend, blend!

PRO'S - I really really like this bronzer and it has a matte finish.......thats what you want in a bronzer!! The colour is quite natural and can be applied to give a lovely warm bronzed glow. The formula is very easy to work with so ideal for beginners and the under-colour of the product is not orange but more of a caramel tone. As there is only one colour available there is no stress in choosing the right one!!

CONS - The packaging is quite big so if you like to carry your bronzer in your bag ensure you take a suitcase to accommodate. The only other disadvantage is if you have dark to very dark skin you wont get much use from it - the depth is not there.

If this product is not for you maybe try:
Chantecaille Radiance Gel Bronzer
Hourglass Illume Creme to Powder
Two Faced Bronzer

May & June Skincare Favourites!

So it's that time again where I have been trialling and loving new or rediscovered products!

As we are right, smack, bang, in the middle of winter I tend to, even more so, use products that are moisturising and protects the skin. Often during winter we forget how much the harsh environments (heating, wind & cold) effect and harm the skin. The following are my loves and Ive been religiously using for the last couple of months.

Dermalogica precleanse:
This extraordinary oil based cleanser is filled with gorgeous and nourishing Olive, Apricot and Kukui Nut oils. Ideal if you are a heavy makeup wearer, use sunscreen daily, suffer from poor skin or like to know every single trace of makeup, pollution or debris from the skin. I love that you can use this product all over your skin and eyes which makes it super convenient and easy to remove waterproof mascara and makeup.  Simply rub it all over dry skin and massage for a little while. Then add some warm water and watch it emulsify right before your eyes!

Where to buy:

Bioderma Crealine AR
It's no secret that I'm completely in love with Bioderma products......if I could, Id bathe in Bioderma Crealine H2O!! And now to have discovered another beauty from this range is truly amazing. Bioderma Crealine AR (anti- redness) is perfect if you have sensitive, inflamed, irritated skin and particularly great for Rosacea sufferers! The slightly green tinged moisturiser will instantly help cover redness and makes it ideal as a makeup base.

Where to buy:

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo
As I mentioned in my intro with winter truly here I have become a little obsessed with skincare. La Roche-Posay is another French brand I cant recommend enough. I suffer from regular breakouts and this is one product that has been able to control it - miracle I know! The formaula works by unclogging pores and gently exfoliates to remove dead skin which can cause unwanted breakouts. Reasonably priced at only $26 this treatment is a must have for clearer skin!

Where to buy:

Caudalie Beauty Elixer
There seems to be a clear theme here - the French certainly know their skincare! Inspired by Queen Isabelle of Hungary’s elixir of youth, this treatment smooths away fine lines,
tightens pores and gives the complexion a real boost of radiance. This spritzer of youth is filled with Grape, Orange blossom, Rose, Balm mint, Rosemary and doesnt contain any of the nasties such as Parabens, sulfates, gmo's and the rest!

Where to buy:

Grown Alchemist Body Serum
This body serum is so highly absorbent that that my skin has remained well moisturised and hydrated despite the awful cold we are experiencing. Formulated with a sensuous and potent blend of botanical bio active ingredients including essential fatty acids omega 6 & 9 and antioxidants from tamanu oil it helps restore skin elasticity while providing maximum hydration helping protect against premature ageing.

Where to buy:

NARS Pro Prime - Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base
Already featured in my last favourites blog and youtube review I have continued to love this product even more! Its a fact that the oiliest part of our body is our eyelid - I know who would have thought..... And because of this fact a lot of us find our shadow creases, disappears or smudges throughout the day. This nifty product was produced to help with that and help it does!

As its a colourless formula it will not interfere with your eyeshadow pigments in fact its polymer and mineral powder blend establishes a firm grip on colour ensuring hours of wear.

Where to buy:

TONI&GUY Sea Salt Texturising Spray
This Sea Salt Texurising Spray is a must have to create a lived-in, beach look. Since getting the big chop I found my dead straight hair often looked limp and quite boring. This product has changed my life (and hair)! Just a quick spray either on towel dried or dry hair I quickly run my fingers through my hair and mess it around...bed hair that easy!!

Where to buy:

By Terry Hyaluronic Face Glow
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT LIKE A FIRST BORN!! Following my April favourite of the By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Primer I decided to give this a go and Im equally in love with it. In all honesty I have found them to be quite identical, the only difference is this one contains colour which I don't mind as I can wear it alone if I want a light coverage. When worn as primer I found the foundation truly stayed fresh and lasted all touch ups required here!
I found it also filled out my pores and left my skin looking plump and healthy. LOVE!!
Where to buy:

We need to thank Makeup and Glow ( for bringing these extraordinary professional lights into Australia for distribution! I take these lights with me everywhere. I can have the best products in the world but if my lighting is bad (and lets face it, us makeup artists are often shoved in a dim corner!) no makeup will look good. Super light and compact I have no issue adding this to my kit. But rest assured you don't have to be a makeup artist to enjoy the bright light! I find people who live in apartments/flats/hotels are subjected to horrific lighting and there is no way you can apply your makeup effectively, or more mature ladies who need that extra bit of light to assist in application can also benefit from it.

Where to buy:

Kosmea Skin Clinic® Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil
Im sure we're all familiar with Rose Hip Oil and how beneficial it is for our skin! Well now you can add certified organic to that sentence. Ive been applying this luxurios oil to my face nightly and after a few days of use I feel the texture of my skin has smoothed slightly and existing blemish scars have started to fade......thats enough for me! And if you like that dewy finish to your makeup add a couple of drops to you foundation! Your skin will thank you for it!

Kim Kardashian Red Carpet, Red Lip Look!

I wont deny it, I am a Kim Kardashian fan! After all, if it wasn't for her I wouldn't be inundated with requests to recreate her looks. Kim's makeup is forever immaculate and her contouring is one not be messed with........we ALL know that famous image of her looking quite alien like and then once expertly blended AMAZING! This recreated look however is a little more wearable and great for an event or a night out.

Hope your enjoy xx
